Who we are
We are an established award-winning B2B FoodTech startup, founded in 2014 by two female entrepreneurs who brought together their knowledge and experience of digital technology and hospitality.
Our vision is to simplify all food information so that we can improve human health and safety through instantly and accurately communicating what is in their food. In 3 years we aim to be in 6,000 kitchens with 24,000 users and have health data on 10% of both the ageing population and children.
Kafoodle products connect commercial kitchens to their customers in the healthcare, education and retail sectors. We work with many enterprise companies in education, care, contract catering and hospitality. Our clients include Compass Group, OCS, Metropolitan Pub Company, and Havering Council.

This is what you’ll be doing
As Head of Product you will be overseeing the evolution of the Kafoodle product and be accountable for its development.
You will own the roadmap and work closely with the exec team to evolve the product based on user feedback and business strategy. You will have budget responsibility for investment in the product.
Key Responsibilities
-Ensure our product strategy and roadmap is always relative
-Manage the product tech and design team to ensure they are a motivated and productive team
-Work with strategic partners to identify and design integrations that improve both products
-Facilitate workshops with product stakeholders (internal and external) and present the learnings in actionable items in order to make more intelligent product direction
-Become a trusted source of the product knowledge and analytics
-Identify market opportunities to influence the product vision and define the strategy
-Validate the product proposition, its value to the end customer and cost impacts and product specification, describing the end to end requirements
-Work with our partners and key clients to bring to live solutions that increase company value and support our mission
We would love to see the following in you:
-Deep knowledge of the SaaS ecosystem – you will need to bring a broad knowledge of available tools
-Previous experience of working in a startup
-Put the customer at the heart of all you do
-The desire to work with others in and out of Kafoodle, understanding that you will only be the best through others
-Understand how data can support our growth
-Ability to manage projects, work at speed, sometimes under limited brief or direction
-Ability to challenge yet keep your humility
-Ability to get it wrong and learn
-A desire to be educated and believe in self improvement
