We’re rapidly growing our content production and we need skilled Product Owners with big ideas and drive to make them reality. You’ll work within a cross-functional development team to create the best experience for our students.
You’ll be working with a group of other Content Product Owners to create a cohesive and powerful experience for our users across various platforms. We’ve just launched into the Mobile space, and so we’re looking for at least 1 PO with experience working with mobile users.
This role will represent the voice of millions of students, from a diverse set of backgrounds so a passion for impact is a must.
What will you do?
Create a high-value roadmap based on deep understanding of user personas, validated ideas and product’s strategic goals
Set clear product’s vision and communicate it to the development team and other stakeholders
Translate product roadmap into product backlog and prioritize it according to the highest value for the end users
Establish and channel an in-depth understanding of user personas, their behaviour, pain points and needs
Actively participate in UX design process to create, test and validade new ideas
Collaborate with the content development team and drive cross-functional roadmap execution (create user stories, define product requirements, participate in team’s ceremonies, provide user insights and more)
Work cross-functionally on product launches, define what success looks like (metrics), monitor performance and iterate quickly when needed
Collaborate with the mobile product manager and UX/Design lead on understanding overall market needs, gathering insights for future prioritization and sharing in depth user knowledge
What should you have?
5+ years of experience working as a product owner, ideally in Content production
Experience working with products for mobile device users (Mobile only)
Experience in creating, prioritizing and owning a Product Backlog
Strong execution ability (from idea to launch)
Experience in Agile-approach driven projects
Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Focus on user experience and customer needs through the use of technology
Demonstrate a data-driven mindset
Be fluent in English (our working language)
Bonus points for:
Passion in changing the world through learning
Knowledge of UX methods and artefacts (wireframes, personas, flows)
Experience building products for users in the Emerging market sector (Mobile only)
