Brightmetrics is a leading provider of SaaS based data analytics for Call Centers and Unified Communications. We’re a lean, bootstrapped company and we’re looking for the right candidate to lead our product management as well as our engineering team.

Our dream candidate is a creative, qualified, and process-driven person. You’re familiar with the SaaS model and the fast-paced build schedule in that environment. You’ve managed Agile processes but aren’t a slave to them. And you’ve managed people before. Preferably developers but understanding what it takes to make your team productive and happy is the important takeaway.
This is NOT a technical management position. You’ll work closely with our CTO who will provide technical leadership. You should understand technology, but you don’t need to be a developer yourself.
Work with senior management to own and drive product vision for our SaaS based data analytics service.
Build strong product and engineering teams dedicated to achieving Brightmetrics overall goals.
Deliver value through defining, driving and executing our product roadmap.
Collaborate with all other departments in the company as well as with customers to help define our roadmap.
Identify success metrics and track product performance in line with the team, the product vision, strategy and objectives.
Demonstrate your leadership through the personal growth of your team & leading through coaching.
Be passionate about representing Brightmetrics’ services.
Cultivate a culture that promotes the well-being of our company, employees, partners, and customers.
What does success look like
Your direct reports are effectively managed and supported. They are empowered to do their work and understand what is expected of them. Their performance is reviewed regularly, and feedback is continually offered in a timely manner.
You can demonstrate a deep understanding of Brightmetrics products and industry. You know who the players are and what we need to do to maintain a competitive advantage.
Your roadmap is being executed according to plan and our focus is on building the right things.
Your success is clearly defined with metrics and consistently measured and reported to key stakeholders.
The team is delivering software with a strong cadence.
Practices are continuously evaluated and improved upon
You are a champion of our product vision. You make sure that our vision is clearly communicated to the other teams in the company as well as to our customer base.
Experience with Product Management is a SaaS company.
Successful team leadership showing that you know how to keep a team motivated.
Applying modern product development practices.
Stakeholder management. The ability to build relationships across all levels of the company.
You should have done at least some of these for a small company with limited resources. This is a different position than if you’ve done the same thing for Oracle or Salesforce.

Salary for this position is $125,000 -$150,000 commensurate with experience.
