Responsibilities:

We are searching for a Product Manager that will be challenged to make a significant impact and to be part of our commitment to the GES passion.   Manage, support and drive the roadmap for one of our key internal/external products built within the Salesforce.com platform.  Be a primary technical resource for the field sales and account management force and actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales/account management team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Skilled in articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Strong team work skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle are critical. Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.  Represent the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. Work directly with clients to improve linkages and interoperability of websites. Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in product management, software presentation, collaboration with teams and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the fast-paced atmosphere of a dynamic organization with multiple projects and travel. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be very familiar with the web, website usability and current web and mobile technology, preferably on the Salesforce.com platform.

  • 2-3+ years relevant experience in technology or sales
  • 2-3+ years relevant Salesforce.com experience, implementing solutions for sales/am teams
  • Experience and familiarity of our products and lines of business a plus
  • A B.S. in Computer Science, B.B.A. in Management, Marketing/related field is strongly preferred
  • Moderate travel required – up to 25%-40%
  • Self-starter and ability to work well in a cross-functional team required
  • Proficient computer skills required (Office); particularly adept at Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Dynamic and influential communication style
