PEI Media – an international B2B provider of data, news and events to one of the most dynamic segments in global finance – is growing its product and project delivery team as it expands its portfolio to align with customer needs.
PEI requires an experienced and ambitious project manager to help drive the successful launch of a series of new products and features, expected to incorporate a range of components including CMS, Search, Identity & Access Management, subscription/online payment applications, virtual events & networking applications, and integration with business systems including CRM, Marketing Automation Tools, Data Hub, etc.
Working within an agile scrum framework, the project manager will join a small but growing team of BAs, product and project managers, and will have a mix of “classic” project management responsibilities including:
- Create and maintain detailed project plans (including spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps when needed), clearly assigning tasks and deadlines
- Coordinate and monitor internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects from inception to launch
- Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Monitor and track progress to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, flagging any expected issues in advance
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
- Track project performance, both for successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Report and escalate any issues to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Meet commercial objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Attend conferences and training as required to strengthen or maintain proficiency
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in project management – relevant certifications a plus
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with agile ways of working and scrum
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with subscription news, data, events or membership products a plus
