Product Owner

Full-Time United Kingdom Salary: 40000 - 50000

Description
We’re now hiring a Product owner who will report to our CEO and whose primary role will be to support our Co-founders (CEO & CTO), clients, sales team and development team by understanding product ideas and technical requirements and refining these into clear specifications before supporting the development team in planning them into our development sprints.

Requirements:
Work with key stakeholders (including our co-founders (CEO & CTO), clients and sales team) to understand product ideas and technical requirements, before writing these up into clear technical specifications and user stores for the development team to work from.
Visually mockup/wireframe new concepts and present them to relevant stakeholders for feedback and sign-off.
Collaborate with the company UI design creating designs of required features.
Become an expert in the company’s product offering in order to be able to support clients and team members with questions.
Manage the development ticket backlog and work with the co-founders to prioritise requirements alongside company strategy.
Support agile and SCRUM working processes within the product and development team.
Attend client scoping meetings and liaise with clients on email to understand and record their product requirements and to provide suggestions that enhance their plans.
Understand and manage client technical requirements and feature expectations and timeframes and communicate plans and progress to their relevant account managers.
Liaise with the development team over technical build requirements and timeframe estimates and report these to the sales team and other internal stakeholders as necessary.
Work with the CEO to understand the company road map plans to break these down into specifications and jira tickets and to support the creation of presentations.
Undertake product usability testing against initial specification
Review product development front end features against original UI designs and suggest improvements.
Work with the CTO and QA team to understand upcoming release plans and to ensure pre-emptive communications to the write team members.
Communicate upcoming and new releases to relevant stakeholders through visual content that can be shared externally
Contribute to the company’s training portal by writing guides and creating videos that explain how to use the latest features.
Analyse product usage patterns, create insight reports for management and your development teams and feed these back to your development.
Research and analyse industry trends, technological advancements and competitor solutions and generate ideas that advance the company’s products

Required Skills:

You have more than a couple of years within a technical project or product centric role.
Ability to use Microsoft Office: PowerPoint and Word.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven knowledge of software design, SDLC, software requirements documentation
Applicable Strong understanding of SCRUM, Agile and other development methodologies
Jira.
Basic HTML
Photoshop
Customer flow diagram mapping
Sketch mockups.
Zeplin.
