We have yet another outstanding opportunity here at Computershare, for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our highly motivated and talent Product Management team.

You will work as part of a cross-functional Agile team working closely with our Product Owners, Technology and client-facing stakeholders to design and deliver market differentiating UX solutions. Whilst user experience will be your primary focus, we work through the full life cycle here and therefore visual design will also play a key part in your role.

What will you be doing?

We are a busy team and we have a lot for you to be focusing on when you join us, but we also have new emerging projects in the pipeline and we need to ensure we deliver what is need for our business.

Key areas of responsibility will include working closely with the product team to define the customers’ and the business problems. You will ensure you always research and bring forward new finding and insights, but also wire-framing and prototyping to validate the design solutions.

You will be running user testing workshops and guerrilla testing and building high-fidelity designs, as well as working within and contributing to the design language system.

We expect you to participate in ongoing design reviews and iterations during the sprint and ensuring you set our and identify success metrics.

You must do all of the above whilst always keeping in mind our users/customers and their interests.

What are we looking for?

An experienced UX Designer!

You will be able to demonstrate your capability in designing complex commercial digital products in-house. Strong design skills across iOS, Android and Web Platforms is a must for us with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.

This is a technical role and we need the technical skills, but we also need you to be a natural problem solver with the ability to challenge and be challenged. You will work collaboratively as part of a team and engage with your customers, but you will also be a self-starter and work independently.

We are a fast-paced organisation and with that also comes change. You will embrace and adapt well to new situations but also be able to keep up with the pace of change here at Computershare.

Other key skills and experience required:

  • Clean visual design sense
  • Skills in typography and grids
  • Able to understand the technical implications of your design decisions
  • Experience of working within Agile/Scrum remote teams would be of advantage
  • Always looking at continuous improvement, not just in yourself but within the team
