Crowdfunder is a fundraising platform that has helped thousands of projects turn their great ideas into reality. We also work with charities and local organisations to raise vital funds to keep their services up and running. Our platform team helps shape and build the technology that will support different communities and individuals.
The Crowdfunder team is diverse, high performing, innovative and collaborative, and our work environment is an inspiring place where you can thrive.
With an ambitious roadmap over the next year Crowdfunder is looking to hire an additional Product Manager to join our innovative platform team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in turning business and customer requirements into engaging, revenue-generating, data-informed products.
As a product manager you should be used to working with developers, designers, data analysts, business insights people and the wider management teams – creating meaningful relationships where you are able to understand the business requirements across all teams. You will be used to facilitating conversations to scope and understand constraints in the current platform but also have the ability to build products from scratch.
In this role you’ll get to:
Identify and prioritise the optimisation of various user journeys together with product marketers, design, engineering and research working with a customer-centric, data-informed approach.
Define success metrics, track key business and usage analytics.
Scope, research and develop best product development practices
Articulate a clear product vision and strategy.
Plan and execute against the roadmap, refining and iterate as needed.
Drive alignment with marketing partners, partner managers and other team members.
Improve, refine and test hypotheses that move the needle.
On your first day we’ll expect you to have:
2+ years crafting and delivering stellar products in a product management role, preferably in the tech / e-commerce domain.
Ability to encourage your team to build better products that deliver high customer value and drive strategic impact.
Outstanding track record with engineers, design and cross-functional partners: people love to work with you!
A keen eye for analytics paired with a data-informed mindset. You’re passionate about experimentation and A/B testing.
Ability to communicate directly and clearly, emphasis on careful listening.
Love thinking through complex, ambiguous problems and distil it to the essentials.
Attention to detail; we want you to care about the small things just as much as the big things.
Ability to balance prioritising competing opportunities (including evaluating customer needs with business priorities).
Self-awareness with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
Deep understanding of the value of collaboration and teamwork.
It’s great but not required if you have:
Entrepreneurial experience in any domain.
Background in web/software development.
An understanding of what constitutes good design, either through design/UI work of your own or working with designers in a team.
