Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

Your role

We’re a front runner in a new market we’re helping to build and shape. Winning customers’ trust requires our sophisticated products to be well-positioned in every market. This is where you come in.

As Product Marketing Manager at tado°, you are the key driver to continuously shape the winning tado° proposition. You ensure that our customers love our products. You facilitate the close collaboration of our cross-functional Product teams, Marketing and Sales teams. You empower these teams to deeply understand customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape.

Your responsibilities

  • Customer ambassador: Constantly engage with and deeply understand our customers to understand their desires, needs, pain points, and evangelize this knowledge throughout the organization
  • Market and competitor research: Build and maintain deep knowledge about our products, markets, and competitors, and represent that expertise to our teams
  • Go-to-market: Closely collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to define a winning market positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Product terms & USPs: Define country-/ market-specific USPs, product names, descriptions, and benefits, and ensure our products are always optimally priced in every market
  • Product communication content: Brief our marketing team on content to facilitate help center articles, newsletters, website content, advertising content, TV spots, flyers, and app store content
  • Product launches: Coordinate press releases and launch events, and provide official specs and internal FAQ docs, trainings, and briefings for our new products

Your profile

  • Proven track record in product marketing or product management, ideally in an innovative tech company
  • Passionate about technology and keen sense of empathy for users
    Strong business acumen and dedication for shaping products into winning propositions
  • Experienced in methods and tools of market, customer, competitor, price analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy to work with people from various backgrounds
  • Very good feeling for language combined with eye for details and high conscientiousness
  • Excellent English is a must-have, knowledge of German is a plus
