The Product Manager, Platform is responsible for product development of one of the platforms aligned to EVERFI’s key business priorities. This includes assisting in the definition of the platform vision and leading the management of the platform roadmap throughout the product life cycle. Day-to-day activities include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with engineering and other matrixed functions, to deliver a winning product that solves customer problems.
Responsibilities
Execute and manage development of new features and updated functionality in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Coordinate development teams through all aspects of the product’s life cycle, including execution of platform vision and roadmap through delivery to end-users.
Continuously improve the platform experience and usability for customers and learners, in close collaboration with User Experience (UX) and Learner Experience (LX) teams.
Assist in conducting market, competitor, and user feedback analysis to inform product requirements.
Assist in direct interactions with internal and external customers to understand their needs, analyze proposed product requirements, assess sales and implementation potential, and as appropriate establish product market fit.
Assist in the definition of a thematic platform roadmap taking into account business goals, user needs, and data analysis.
Maintain and prioritize the backlog of bug fixes, new functionalities and enhancements.
Use quantitative inputs such as product analytics data to measure product health
Actively organize and manage product release timeline with project management.
Proactively ensure that product support teams have data and information needed to effectively support and communicate with customers.
Assist product marketing on communications and development of sales materials to position new enhancements and features to drive product demand.
Make recommendations to help define and refine product development processes.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience
2 years of product management experience with web-based products or services, 4 years preferred
Experience conducting customer- or user-interviews leveraging prototypes
Experience with business analysis, product requirements, use cases and user stories
Experience with customer relationship management system (Salesforce) and ticket management system (JIRA), preferred
Experience with EdTech B2B2C and/or SaaS platforms, preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to complete work in a timely manner and adjust to quickly changing priorities
Experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum preferred
