As this is a crucial role, as the CEO, I am directly hiring for a Head of Product position to take over the vision and turn it together with the team into a product that our customers will enjoy using as much as we will enjoy working on it.
I am looking for an uncommon product owner for a product that I have been shaping for the last nine years. Not so easy to take it over, I know, but that is not what I am after. We want to build a new version inspired by my long-term vision, our customers and how they use our current product, our team, their ideas and industry trends. We want to innovate.

And work on a product that is being used by millions of people every month. The job is a long-term role (years, decades), and you will have my full attention from the very beginning.
What I would like you to have or be capable of doing: Not being afraid of being a hands-on product person; in fact, this is a requirement. You would NOT be managing the team, track their hours, productivity, nor effectiveness. It is not needed. Your focus will be really on the product. We are using Shape Up by Basecamp as it is very close to how we wanted to work. Among other things, I would like you to be able to draw sketches, consider UX, research if needed, and many other activities that will allow the product to work and grow.
