As a Product Manager at SaleCycle, you will be responsible for the ideation, development and delivery of improved feature functionality, enhanced user experience and entirely new capability into our product portfolio.
To achieve this, you will engage with all aspects of the business to generate, assess and quantify ideas using best product practices. Operating in a fast-paced continuous delivery environment you will be effective in your communication to both engineers and wider operational colleagues to passionately convey the product strategy and vision.
You must have the ability to create user stories to fully portray the needs of our users and facilitate solutions to complex problems. The needs of the user will be forefront in your thinking to deliver innovation and true value to the SaleCycle product ecosystem.
Conducting regular user interviews to uncover unmet needs and pain points as well as bringing the voice of the end user to development and key stakeholders.
As a Product Manager you will…
- Plan and execute user discovery activities to define client problems and validate solutions
- Own and negotiate the prioritisation of multiple backlogs, considering product vision, business needs and technical requirements
- Create and communicate user stories with acceptance criteria to define work and support the product delivery teams to achieve positive outcomes
- Conduct detailed competitor analysis to assess market developments and placement
- Serve as a product expert to the business and as a strong spokesperson on the future of the SaleCycle product
- Support the rollout of new features and products to the business, ensuring effective communication and creation of comprehensive documentation
- Ensure internal product knowledge is kept up to date for wider business use
- Input into and deliver product training to operational teams such as Sales and Account Management
Desirable Experience and Qualifications…
- At least 3 years of Product team experience working in a B2B SaaS / technology company or experience of ecommerce and/or marketing technology
- Experience of using OKR to shape your product ambitions
- Experience of translating user problems and market insight into product strategy
- Previous involvement with backlog refinement and prioritisation of projects in line with business needs and objectives
- Understanding of Agile events and practice
- Understanding of product marketing
- Familiarity with OKR
