Product Manager

OBJECTIVES: To successfully manage product development and growth

  • Ability to review and analyze processes in relationship to requirements
  • Ability to determine and recommend improvements that need to be initiated to ensure best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, 7Miles staff and IT team to ensure requirements are properly documented and communicated so all involved work to reach successful product development
  • Liaison with stake holders to provide constructive feedback to ensure targets and target dates are meet
  • Assist with UI/UX strategy to insure user adaption and satisfaction
  • Execute a plan for final stage development, testing and go to market
  • Collaborate with CEO and COO to create and prepare a strategy for initial market launch and expansion in the industry

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The qualifications for the Product Manager position are:

  • Minimum educational requirement:  Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 3-5 years project and product management experience
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
  • Skilled in Excel, GitLab, Jira in an Agile environment
  • Ability to create basic wireframes
  • UX/UI experience a plus
  • Clear written and verbal skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to translate Client requirements into Explicit Use Cases for execution by development team
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Experience in market research and analysis
  • Experience in strategic, financial and pricing analysis
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to direct testing to validate requirement success in achieving software goals
  • Ability to work well from home based on project time requirements
  • Collaborative and positive problem-solving attitude
  • Experience communicating well with off-shore programming teams

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review current system to create and manage action plan for ongoing feature developments
  • Review system with current and potential users for best practice programming, and execution
  • Meet with industry leaders to build user case studies
  • Review industry programs to plan and execute GO TO MARKET plan
  • Oversees day-to-day project management
  • Manage daily development meeting between user groups and IT teams
  • Develop timelines for feature develop with COO
  • Develop timelines for marketing strategy with CEO
    Maintain an accurate record of work in progress during all stages of jobs
  • Organize and distribute job status reports each week
