(Confidential) team is looking for a Junior Product Owner/Business Analyst to deliver the next generation home-ownership experience. The successful candidate has a combination of business acumen and technical knowledge with a drive to partner with and support the Product Owner/Product Manager. This person will partner closely with engineering, QA, UX, and business teams to build site enhancements and integration with various internal/external services to provide best-in-class support for our users.
Key Qualifications
1+ years in software Product Management or as a Product Owner or Business Analyst building out software products
1+ years of experience in B2C or Direct-to-consumer goods, services, or applications
Knowledge of software product development lifecycle
Ability to break down high-level features into tactical user-stories and assigning and tracking them across multiple organizations
Outstanding problem solving and analytical abilities
Comfortable working with remote Business/Leadership/Engineering teams
Understanding of product design, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Agile scrum methodology
Desire to work in highly scalable web sites or native applications
Comfortable presenting to senior leaders
Description
In this role you will take on the following responsibilities:
Responsible for the on-schedule delivery of new feature requirements and delivery of features, validating prototypes with our various personas, user-acceptance testing on features built out by our engineering team, documentation of required bug fixes, and performing additional product-related or marketing-related tasks as needed.
Manage enhancement requests and feature prioritization. Balance trade-offs between time and scope while meeting business objectives. Engage with stakeholders to seek clarification and reproduce issues to support a timely and appropriate prioritization.
Facilitate effective communication between business and engineering teams to get issues resolved. Shared owner of the product backlog including refinement and grooming. Document clear acceptance criteria. Coordinate with business testing to ensure development is consistent with business requests. Work with business stakeholders to monitor overall health of the products you support.
Utilize Agile scrum methodology, write user stories and acceptance criteria, refine product backlog, and advocate for end-user and business needs. Partner with Product leaders to define product roadmap.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM major is preferred, however, experience in lieu may also be considered.
