Salesforce’s Office of Ethical and Humane Use is hiring a Director of Product Management to play a pivotal role in the development of product and business processes around the Ethical and Humane Use of Salesforce technology. Working together with the Sr. Director, Ethical & Humane Use, the Chief Ethical & Humane Use Officer, and the ethical use team, they will deliver processes and guidelines that shape the creation and use of our technology in alignment with Salesforce’s ethical use principles.
The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of ethics in the development of technology products (with a special emphasis on emerging technology) and expertise in consensus-building among diverse teams. The candidate will lead key aspects of Salesforce’s ‘ethics by design’ work with internal engineering, product, and design teams; with Salesforce implementation partners; and with influential industry organizations who shape ethical guidelines for the industry.
This role will focus on Salesforce’s largest lines of business – the B2B CRM – including but not limited to Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Vaccine Cloud. We are looking for a candidate with experience working in B2B areas, particularly customer service, workforce automation, and privacy.
