tomato pay are looking for a Product Manager, who will be working closely alongside the Chief Product Officer.
You will drive the design and delivery of an innovative payments platform. From understanding user problems, to prioritising user problems, building a product roadmap for the flagship app, writing requirements and looking at product analytics to inform product decisions.
As the Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product marketing, engineering and sales.
You bring strategic thinking skills, creativity, and user focus to the role, and have a reputation as an action oriented individual who can deliver end results.
You will be able to understand the market requirements and user problems, and will be able to prioritise them, write requirements for them and work with the engineering team to get them delivered.
You will understand what makes a great customer experience and will feel comfortable identifying new opportunities (both large and small), striving for the right product market fit to guide the product strategy forward.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
End-to-end product development process: ideation, planning & execution
Prioritise features & products based on detailed assessment of customer, commercial & strategic value
Communicate performance of products to stakeholders
Develop a Product Roadmap
Conduct deep research of the market, customer trends & technology to identify customer needs to deliver value to our customers and partners
Use strategic thinking techniques to develop a roadmap along with a coherent product backlog that supports it. Continuously maintain, prioritise and iterate on this backlog.
Get buy-in for roadmap from colleagues & stakeholders
Drive the delivery of the Roadmap
Understand and gather detailed requirements relating to new features & products
Deliver the specifications needed to ship new features & products
Participate in all agile ceremonies: standups, planning, reviews & retrospectives
Requirements:
Skills and Experience
End-to-end Product Management experience (strategy, design, road mapping, user testing, to rolling the products out)
Working through complex customer problems, building hypotheses and delivering them in a measurable way
Passionate about building slick user experiences and journeys
Proven experience working with engineering teams, involving them in defining solutions, encouraging them to experiment and coaching them in all things Agile
Experience of using A/B testing to drive measurable change
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
Qualifications
5+ years of Product management experience ideally working with fintech products
Experience with designing and shipping mobile app products
Experience with tools: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Asana
Experience of working in a fast-paced startup environment
