Mission of the Role:
Mission includes end-to-end supply chain SaaS product creation, testing and execution. High-end fortune 500 customer service skills are paramount as direct customer collaboration is conducted consistently. The role is highly entrepreneurial with a focus on non-linear and futuristic product capabilities. Leadership is a requirement due to the focus of bringing new products to market with the cross-functional collaboration of many partners.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
Experience:Successful results in products related to advanced analytics including simulations, clustering and anomaly detection
Research:Determines customers’ needs and desires through market research and competitive reviews
Product Ownership:Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes
Efficient:Experience in leading product strategy processes, contributing on sales calls, developing product roadmaps, and executing product development processes
Organization:Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Project Management:Oversee the planning, design, and creation of the product
Entrepreneurial:Adaptability in a changing and fast paced environment
Leadership:Demonstrates ability to prioritize requirements across conflicting dimensions and to be clear on the minimum capabilities that matter
Ideal Profile:
Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology including sprint planning and execution, as well as a strong understanding of software development management methods
5+ years’ experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of shipping impactful product, with preferred experience building B2B SaaS solutions
Move quickly and constantly iterate, moving from hypotheses developed from customer conversations, data, and insights to running tests to confirm those hypotheses, to learnings and iteration towards a solution that customers didn’t even realize they wanted but now can’t live without.
Built and launched innovative and differentiated products with resulting revenue over $10M
Developed a consumer-grade product design sense, and have led products with user bases at least in the hundreds of thousands of WAU
BA/BS or equivalent required
Experience working with SaaS companies and within project-based team structures (as opposed to traditional hierarchies) preferred
Experience with international operations preferred
3+ years’ experience in SaaS products related to supply chain preferred
Enterprise fortune 500 customer experience preferred
