Product Manager (Technical)

The successful candidate will be expected to lead the creation and improvement of Flock’s product line with things such as (but not limited to);

Managing the product development processes, maintaining a product roadmap that is regularly updated with objectives for the future, and facilitating stakeholder’s discussions and resource planning.

Leading the product scrum in collaboration with the development team to deliver high-quality features with intuitive user experience.

Joining the dots between customer needs, product features, and technical implementation, and can ensure that the development team is making sound decisions based on the product context

Deriving new insights and ensuring data quality to increase Flock’s products’ value and utility to our customers.

Ensuring and maintaining a coherent, intuitive UX throughout the product suite

Specifying the user stories to be worked on and collaborating with the appropriate engineer and QA for each to refine and confirm the work needed, including test/verification scenarios

Continually working with stakeholders (including customers, potential customers, and Flock’s strategic leadership team) to identify product improvements or new products and prioritise them based on all the factors involved.

Presenting the product, and consulting on product capabilities, in support of business development activities.


3+ successful years as a Product Manager in a fast-paced environment, focusing on B2B Data Visualization, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics products

Worked within and shaped agile development processes according to team and product circumstances

Excellent written and verbal communication skills while working with C-level internal and external stakeholders.

Cognitive intelligence – you can think on your feet, seeing all the angles to best position the product/market fit.

Self-starter with a natural curiosity and desire to learn

Good project management skills

Strong interest and capability in technology, digital, social media web and software applications including ability to use spreadsheets and PowerPoint

Excellent standard of written and spoken English

High degree of initiative and a proactive approach

Ability to communicate confidently and clearly and demonstrate strong listening skills

Ability to multitask and prioritise

Excellent team player

Positive, fun and can-do attitude
