The company recently closed an investment from Summit Partners, a global growth equity firm managing over $23 billion in investment capital. As a result, the company is embarking on an exciting new phase of growth and is hiring aggressively from its headquarters in Lexington, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.
To support this growth, ConstructSecure is seeking to hire an experienced, analytical, results-oriented Product Manager to build out the product management function. This role will be equal parts strategy and execution, so we’re looking for someone with enough experience to drive product innovation, but who is still excited to roll up their sleeves and get the work done. B2B SaaS experience is highly desirable, but if you think your experience in another sector is the right fit to make a huge impact on our business, we’d love for you to apply.
This role will be responsible for the following primary outcomes:
Build our product management practice. You’ll leverage your impressive track record of building innovative products to create and manage a formal product roadmap, develop rigorous prioritization standards and develop & track KPIs to identify trends in the success of new and existing product features.
Ensure excellence with every project. Think through every detail – users’ needs, technical implications, business drivers, legal implications, communications, etc. – before starting a project. Collaborate with key project stakeholders, communicate project requirements clearly to engineering, and conduct your own QA to ensure new products meet your high standards of technical, functional, and visual quality.
Develop a deep understanding of our business. Immerse yourself in our industry to understand our market position, competitors, differentiators, and evolving trends. Join customer calls, browse trade publications, attend webinars and events, and leverage the deep industry expertise of our existing team. Use this knowledge to drive product innovation.
Make an impact on both our product & business strategy. You’re not satisfied with making the product 10% better; you want to make it 300% better. You’ll think broadly about how to enhance our product offering, proactively raise ideas, and build avenues for the rest of our team to do the same.
This is our first dedicated Product Manager hire, so you’ll need to be happy wearing a lot of different hats and getting your hands dirty.
