The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for developing and releasing integration products that align with the Cayuse Integration roadmap. They will own the technical articulation and communication of requirements and documentation from idea to release.
To succeed in this role you should have a strong grasp of modern integration methods and best practices, a collaborative spirit and keen sense of how to prioritize and approach problems creatively.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product, business, and technical partners to draft technical requirements based on business requirements.
Write user stories based on technical requirements and manage the product backlog.
Actively participate in daily scrum standup with onshore and offshore teams to effectively communicate the work to be performed by the technical team.
Collaborate with QA engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments.
Write technical API documentation in support of our developer portal
Conduct market research to understand integration needs of target market
Qualifications
Undergraduate in Engineering/Technical Field Preferred
2-3 years of relevant work experience as a Technical Product Manager on a cross-functional software development team in an Agile SaaS environment is required
Knowledge and experience with integration patterns and API design with REST.
Experience with JIRA, Swagger and building Postman collections preferred
Knowledge and experience with integration platforms such as Informatica, MuleSoft, etc. preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including ability to write technical requirements and technical documentation.
Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth delivery.
Strong conceptual grasp of technology with a successful history of delivering technical projects.
Self-starter capable of working independently.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven decision-making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Experience or knowledge of Higher Education technologies, standards, and industry trends strongly preferred
