Snap Finance is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager. This role will work with the business product teams to drive the technical implementation of our financial product offerings. They will also be critical to building efficiencies in the technical stack and service layers that provide for improved efficiencies and go-to-market speed.

The ideal candidate should enjoy solving complex problems with innovative and scalable solutions. They will work collaboratively with other Senior Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver new products and programs. They will use their technical background and knowledge of our products, platforms, and user experiences to assist in making the best technological decisions and support the long-term sustainable evolution of our products.

The Job…

At Snap, Technical Product Management supports the vision of the different Business Product Teams.  You will be working closely with the Business PMs to translate the requirements of our financial products into enterprise-level technology solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams and in close cooperation with the engineering teams, you will strive to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios
Ensure delivery of high-quality software and systems within the product while managing trade-offs between speed-to-market and technical debt repayment
You will create clear and consistent product briefs, outlining the different paths and exceptions, success criteria, and go-to-market plans.
You will define workstreams and oversee the implementation of your solutions.
You will gain insights and provide recommendations to leadership for the evolution of new products and/or product changes
Using your technical skills, you will envision and build out a proof of concepts ideas which potentially will be used for enhancements or new solutions
You will perform technical reviews of potential 3rd party partner solutions and their viability within the Snap Technology EcoSystem
Manage and report on product performance to cross-functional areas


You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a technical field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
5+ years of experience in Technical Product management
Experience in fintech is a plus but is not required
You are proficient in Agile, Lean Product Management, and PDLC-based release cycles.
You have a passion for technology and a strong sense of ownership.
You are a proven champion for new ideas and how to implement them
You are curious, analytical, and proactive.
Complicated problems are challenging for you, and not a barrier.
You are able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

You are able to follow all health and security company measures during COVID
You have the flexibility to work at any of our offices
You are able to travel to our different locations (post-COVID)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to translate stakeholder needs
Strong technical background and judgment to evaluate solutions, assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, make trade-offs, and help balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships with the Technology organization
