We are seeking a Senior Product Marketer to be part of our “go-to-market” team, who will play a critical role in enabling merchants and consumers to clearly understand the benefits of doing business with Snap as well as the benefits of specific product releases and selling propositions. You will be responsible for creating crisp value propositions, positioning, and messaging strategies. This is a senior-level role on a fun and cohesive team where new ideas, leadership, and teamwork are strongly supported.
Be insights-driven and push hard to understand the merchant and consumer needs and pain points through their eyes
Focused on revenue objectives tied to every project
Clearly understand the merchant and consumer journeys associated with a retail finance transaction in all channels
Study the details of Snap products and understand the features and benefits for the user
Follow and analyze market trends to position products
Understand competitor offerings and their go-to-market strategies, and clearly articulate Snap wins and losses.
Craft compelling value propositions tied to the brand strategy and the specific offering and go-to-market strategy
Complete thorough creative briefs that allow Marketing, Training, and Operations to effectively deliver content and outputs
Work with various teams (Product Management, Marketing, UX, Sales) to implement go-to-market strategies
Test and measure product marketing strategies and adapt efforts accordingly
Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective merchants and customers
5+ years experience in Product Marketing and/or Brand
5+ years experience leading or providing significant oversight in projects involving cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for Marketing, Communications, or a similar field
Experience in market analysis and customer insights is required
Background in design and copywriting is a preferred
Experience in working with sales enablement and training is highly preferred
Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
Excellent communication skills required
Experience with UX/UI, wireframes, and mockups preferred
Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills are highly preferred, particularly in regard to framing and digesting customer insights
Live in Utah or willing to relocate to Utah. This is not a remote job
