The Team:

The EHS Product Team is an engaged and hardworking team of Product Managers, co-operating tightly with Development and UX.  We strive to deliver high quality solutions to help our customers with their Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) needs.

At EcoOnline, Product Managers have a very central role, and you will have an important responsibility in setting the direction for the product and company.

Our Product Managers need to have good knowledge of many activities such as user research, design, project management, testing, product documentation, sales, pricing and product marketing.  It’s a challenging role but also very rewarding!

Responsibilities:

EcoOnline is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to play a key role in shaping our EHS product.  You will work closely with the fellow Product Managers, Development teams, UX function and clients to provide direction, solve problems in the most innovative way possible and analyse the impacts of those solutions.

You will be responsible for:

Engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels to understand the problems to be solved, new opportunities and the potential business impacts.
Understanding key customer personas and user journeys.
Effectively manage the product and development backlogs, to work with the Development pods and UX function to support effective design, planning and delivery of valuable solutions.
Work with clients and internal stakeholders to agree the Product MoSCoW for functionality to ensure value can be delivered as efficiently as possible, and quality stories are produced to aid this delivery.
Collect and analyse a range of data to support and inform the Roadmap, and prove the desired outcomes are being achieved.
Maintain an excellent understanding of the product functionality.
Effectively communicating risks and issues to the Head of Product and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Head of Product to define the Roadmap of your product areas in line with the product and business strategies, articulating the vision.

Supporting product releases through effective internal product showcases, training sessions and documentation as well as involvement in product marketing activities and advocating the product both internally and externally.
Working closely with the internal stakeholders to ensure product functionality and messaging is understood.
Contribute to driving the Product Management function forward through improved ways of working, innovation and keeping up to date with industry developments in the Product Management discipline.
Be able to understand the business strategy and how this can translate to the product strategy.
Act as a mentor to other members of the team, supporting their learning and progression.

Skills:

· At least 5 years’ experience working in a Product Owner or Product Manager role

· Comfortable coaching and mentoring other team members to help them unlock their potential.

· Creative problem solver, with an ability to challenge assumptions

· Ability to deal with change quickly

· Able to work well as a team and an individual contributor using your own initiative

· Backlog management (Product and Development)

· Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and a proven record of being able to deliver value quickly in this way

· Strong ability to understand technical concepts and their application/impact in the product

· Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation

· Experience running stakeholder workshops

· Strong stakeholder management skills Good understanding of analysis techniques

Education:

Essential:

·        Minimum of 5 GCSEs A* – C

·        Minimum of 3 A-levels/BTEC or equivalent A* – C

Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in a business or computer science related subject 2:1 or above

Additional Skills:

Experience of working with a B2B products
Experience working with a SaaS product
Knowledge of Google Analytics, or experience in analysing data to provide actionable insights
Experience in/knowledge of QSHE industry
