 Product Manager Native Advertising (m/f)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Product Manager (m/f) that has worked in the digital media business before and wants to work closely with our Sales department to further improve our revenue-relevant native advertiser products as well as develop new native product ideas. You will need a digital media background and share our passion for recommendation technology. You will be our expert for all advertiser products which have a direct revenue impact. Working with our internal and external stakeholders you will identify product opportunities and prioritize all your products on the product roadmap in the new field of native advertising. You have the chance to work in a fast-paced, international environment with agile development methods and grow further both personally and professionally. The position is limited to a 2-year-contract, a permanent position is likely afterwards.

  Your responsibilities:

  • Work in cross-functional teams of engineering, product management and sales to build amazing products for our advertising clients
  • Develop new native advertising formats as well as improve and monitor our existing product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders in the digital ecosystem to develop strategy and vision for, and enhancements to plista´s advertiser product portfolio
  • Research and synthesize the needs of performance marketing clients across targeting, measurement, and creative aspects
  • Drive partnership discussions and integrations with our strategic partners, clients and IT
  • Communicate product vision, priorities and roadmap to internal stakeholders with different requirements
  • Responsible for managing market research and opportunity assessment on new ideas and concepts
  • Work closely with business teams to market and appropriately monetize new products
  • Translate and present products to internal and external customers with technical/non-technical background on a senior level

 

Your profile:

  • Relevant work experience in a product management role, preferably with a focus on agency clients / digital advertising products
  • Understanding of the ad tech ecosystem & passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and tech-driven environment
  • Understanding of performance marketer needs across measurement, creative, and targeting
  • Experience with digital targeting technologies and industry challenges are a strong plus
  • Intellectual curiosity, passion for learning new technology
  • Proven ability to build and manage tech products and manage conflicting product priorities
  • Strong experience working with APIs and an understanding of development technologies
  • Expertise with online media buying and selling, advertising technology and/or ad technology business
  • Finished degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Excellent English, preferably German skills
