B2B High-Growth Startup Product Manager – Remote (Remote)

About Us

Timeline is one of the most exciting startups you will come across. How often do you hear how a startup is on a path to glory only to find out it’s all a lot of hot air? Startups can have many problems – inexperienced founders, a lack of funding or poor market timing, for example.

Imagine joining a startup where all of these areas were well covered, like Timeline. We have a founder with vast experience in our market and are well-funded. As for market timing? Timeline’s investment arm has gone from £0 assets under management to over £600m in just over a year. The Andreesen definition of Product/market fit – customers queuing round the corner to sign up – is exactly what we have. There could not be a more exciting time to join Timeline as the investment-side Product Manager and make your mark on the company’s success.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible make the most of their money. 10 million people in Britain are coming up to their retirement and need a place to invest their money securely and successfully. We use a huge dataset behind 120 years of economic history to help financial advisers and their clients make evidence-based decisions on their financial plan and investments, something no other player in the market has done. As the product develops and we can reach more people, your work can change people’s lives, as they benefit from the best planning and investing possible.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial Product Manager with startup experience. You are hungry to learn and have likely done some side-projects, probably of varying success. You like to experiment in a Lean way and know how to interview users to find those invaluable nuggets of insight that help a product gain traction.

As the business grows fast, you will need strong communications skills as you speak to users, motivate your team and ensure everyone stays on the same page.

Experience with UX design, data analysis and user research are expected.

It’s a nice bonus if you have worked in the financial industry before but not necessary. Your skills and approach to Product Management are what matter. Some B2B experience would also be helpful in the role.

3 years’ experience in Product is required and you need to be based in the UK.
