About the Role

MotoRefi is looking for a Product Director of Business Platform to lead a team of Product Managers in maintaining and expanding our core technology platform. This group owns our lender marketplace, supply of complimentary financial products (insurance, financial protection, and more), and the internal experiences through which we serve our borrowers and lending partners. As a member of MotoRefi’s Product team, you will report to the VP of Product and set a vision for how we develop this rich economy of offerings and support our customers in finding the right financial offering for them. This role will:

  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap and delivery for Business Platform projects across the business, making critical allocation decisions
  • Lead a team of product managers to success. You will make hiring decisions, manage performance, and provide ongoing coaching
  • Work closely across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Analytics to synthesize organizational needs into an executable, strategic vision for our platform
  • Explore and develop technologies that allow us to offer new, complimentary financial products to our borrowers
    Integrate loan performance, customer, and risk data into a coherent offering that allows us to better match-make borrowers and lenders
  • Define and measure successful product outcomes and assume accountability for results while delegating decision-making authority to individual Product Managers
  • Develop business cases on how we can push the boundaries of platform capabilities, and pair with an Engineering Director on fleshing out how to turn ideas into reality

About You

You are a natural leader and influencer, who is capable of blending business savvy and technical expertise to guide our platform development. You have:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, including time leading and managing a team of product professionals
  • Extensive experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, and delivering against prioritized commitments
  • Experience successfully delivering a portfolio of software products powering core business operations or a SaaS offering
  • Fantastic analytical skills, ability to solve problems quickly, establish new frameworks, ability to think on your feet, and see synergies before others do. You have canthean ability to generalize both problems and solutions
  • Experience coordinating the work of multiple product teams executing in similar problem spaces to deliver against a shared vision
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing executives and evangelizing to stakeholders
