We have thousands of tradespeople managing hundreds of thousands of jobs on our platform. And we are just getting started – our plan for 2021 is to scale the business three-fold. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Product Manager. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage a multidisciplinary team of design, engineering, QA and data science to bring our product vision to reality. Your role will be to manage the end to end product development lifecycle by preparing specifications, backlog grooming and managing agile sprints. As an early member of the team you will have the opportunity to influence business strategy, working with the leadership team to identify and prioritise the roadmap and feature set.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap
  • Identify market opportunities and contribute to the product vision and business strategy
  • Create User Stories from business requirements with the voice of the customer
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to align work priorities with maximum value to the product strategy
  • Manage the build-measure-learn product feedback loop by using analytics and user feedback
  • Maintain two weeks of fully groomed sprints for the scrum development team, ensuring product backlog items are always correctly prioritized
  • Monitor the team’s development velocity and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers

What you will need

  • 3+ years experience managing digital products as a Product Manager
  • Experience working/building relationships with cross-functional teams, delivering impact consistently through strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to understand and analyse data to drive decision making
  • Open, collaborative and proven team player with an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance or support
  • Expertise in agile software development
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and unstructured problems
  • Experience using roadmap and backlog management tools (JIRA or similar); project collaboration tools (Confluence) preferred
  • Experience working in a start-up preferred
