As a senior-level Product Designer at Square, you will guide design execution for our Ecommerce team—owning design for us on services like Customer Accounts, Coupons, Marketing, Loyalty, Gift Cards, Insights. You will have the unique challenge work with us to solve for many products and platforms in a cross-functional role. These are products that are important to our ecosystem and you’d be guiding the product’s design and approach on features that empower small- and medium-sized businesses and the people behind them.
At least (7) years of relevant professional design experience, with a focus on web and mobile
You have a portfolio that displays work where you had direct responsibility and influence on it’s execution
Experience as a primary contributor to multiple high impact projects
Experience connecting your work to other company plans
You create ideas and present them to your team to determine strategy and roadmaps
You effectively work with leadership peers and bring conversations to next steps
You are seen as a mentor for other designers, provide feedback, and find ways to improve their work
You can use your years of experience to quickly move projects forward – applying domain expertise, establishing principles, and conducting research
You can guide the vision for the product and achieve it through design explorations, documentation, and presentations
You can use existing design systems, standards, and improve these systems and standards
