Mission
We believe every person with a skin issue should get the best possible care, every time.
About Our Company
Each year, 2.3 billion people seek help for skin issues worldwide, with two-thirds of these cases evaluated by non-specialists. Each doctor misdiagnoses 3-5 cases per day. We’re helping to solve this, to ensure every person with skin issues can get the right care at the right time. Founded in 2017, we began as a research endeavor at MIT and a Techstars company based in Boston.
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to own product areas within our platform, with full responsibility from strategy to execution. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the experience of physicians and the care patients receive.
This is a critical role in an early-stage company and an unique opportunity to build products that will rapidly scale. Your impact, experience, and professional growth over the next few years will be unmatched in a lean business where each division works together. You will be working directly with the leadership team to make a world class product.
You should apply if you are a leader who delivers value to the business by inspiring teams to build and market products that really work for their users. You sit in the center of strategy, design, engineering and operations to drive multiple levels of decisions, from what “north star” metric we should drive towards, to signing off on acceptance criteria on a new feature. You love being in the field to learn about needs – talking with users, customers, partners, and other stakeholders – and are able to quickly synthesize, develop hypotheses, and prioritize requirements for your products. You work closely with engineering in an agile scrum team to iterate on prototypes and products to rapidly drive to user value.
What you will do
Define and own the product vision, including strategy, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), roadmaps, and requirements for product areas
Drive clarity and alignment across the team including other functions and leadership
Take a design-first approach to developing product requirements, including partnering with design/research, marketing, engineering, and other team members to understand and evangelize user needs.
Regularly conduct research in the field with users, customers, partners and other stakeholders, and synthesize findings to drive requirements
Structure, write, prioritize, and maintain epics, stories and acceptance criteria, closely partnering with engineering to achieve these goals
Work with analytics team to define, track and measure value
Manage customer success along with technical support to ensure each customer has a great experience, continually improving the process
Represent the company to external audiences including business development, sales, conferences, and investors
Iterate and improve the company’s agile development process as we scale
Your competencies
Proven strategic decision-making: you can prioritize and make tough calls in ambiguous situations
Results-driven; objective and metrics-oriented, relentless about the pursuit of excellence on behalf of our users
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Enjoy the push-pull of passionate debate to get to decisions
Superb leadership, active listening, and communication skills (writing, speaking, presenting); humble, credible and influential with a wide variety of stakeholders including team, users, prospects/customers and partners
