The Role

The product team is looking for a Product Manager to join us in the fight against fraud. We are looking for someone with strong technical proficiency, who is a curious, self-motivated and collaborative person who loves building products that outperform the competition. Experience in the payments industry is required for this role.

To be successful in this role, you’ll know the ins and outs of PSD2, SCA exemptions and 3DS2. You will closely follow market trends and build products to optimise payment acceptance in this changing environment. You will dive into product usage and performance metrics and continually seek out new insights. You’ll be proficient in AB testing, multi-armed bandit optimisation and similar techniques. You’ll collaborate across teams to translate strategy and market feedback into product development, from initial conception to release and iteration. You’ll have the chance to work on a brand new product, setting the direction.

 

Responsibilities

Drive the delivery of high quality products at pace, starting with Ravelin’s authentication optimisation offering
Set goals and KPIs for your products, ensuring that performance is carefully measured and monitored
Own the roadmap for your products and communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your decisions
Conduct research and gather data to inform tactical and strategic decisions
Evaluate new commercial opportunities for strategic and technical fit
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Work with engineers, designers, data scientists, investigation analysts, sales and marketing to build great products

 

Requirements

4+ years product management experience, including delivery of products from start to finish
Experience in the payments industry e.g. working for a payment services provider, or in a payments-focused team at a merchant
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
Ability to adapt to changing procedures, policies, and work environments
MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
