One of the UK’s best loved brands, Comic Relief organises two of the UK’s largest fundraising campaigns; Red Nose Day and Sport Relief. We’re all about delivering positive change and if you are excited about doing worthwhile work, generating new ideas and pushing technology boundaries then join our talented team and help us inspire the country to get involved with our work.
As a passionate digital advocate you will help transform the way we deliver our public facing digital properties to support our ambitious 2020 goals. You will determine the direction of a range of transactional and e-commerce digital products by aligning user need, business requirements and technological reality. We will look to you to own product strategy and long-term vision and work with internal and external stakeholders to agree, communicate and deliver them. You will provide the focus for our agile development team, with planning, product discovery, development, experimentation and delivery. You will also oversee stakeholder reporting as well as ensure products and processes are aligned across the department and operate smoothly.
Having worked in an environment that embraces best practice you know what works and how not to do things. You will have worked on transactional and/or e-commerce websites and gained an understanding of agile frameworks, in particular Kanban and Scrum. You will have experience working in a user centred development process, and have the ability to analyse user behaviour using qualitative and quantitate data to shape product development.
Importantly you enjoy working collaboratively, excel at overcoming problems and are always seeking to improve the way things are done.
Comic Relief positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality. We encourage applications from disabled people and we will guarantee a first stage interview to all disabled applicants who sufficiently demonstrate in their application how they meet the essential criteria for the job as outlined on the person specification of the job description.
