Introduction
We are looking for a Product Manager for our Content Toolkit. This is a first in position opportunity to own the vision and backlog for a suite of products that are integral to the management and delivery of content for one of the leading K-12 EdTech companies in the U.S. The successful candidate will have a strong capacity to understand complex systems and interoperability, and the ability to consume and visualize complex data structures and flows from beginning to end.

A Day in the Life as a Product Manager, Content Toolkit
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those into requirements.
- Build, prioritize, and communicate the roadmap for a highly integrated set of tools.
- Identify and manage dependencies on external technology or existing teams.
- Collaborate with partnering teams in the design and define process.
- Communicate and nurture the product vision to team, peers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to define, plan, and prioritize epics and stories using Kanban methodology.
- Represent the Toolkit team in company-wide PI-planning and coordination meetings.
- Manage communication around releases including release notes.
- Triage, investigate, and track issues reported from partners and the field.
- Regularly report status of products, surfacing potential and observed challenges as well as successes.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and at least 3 years of experience with product management; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, including technical resources and executives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to consume and visualize complex data structures and flows from beginning to end.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative distributed team environment.
- Experience working with Jira to plan and track work.
- Experience working with Confluence or similar collaborations tools.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and interoperability.
- Experience working in a technical environment and a deep understanding of data and APIs.
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
- Familiarity with content management, versioning, and publishing.
- Experience working with educational technology and/or digital content.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.
