The vacancy

We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community, irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief. We actively encourage people with Parkinson’s to apply.

Every hour, two people are diagnosed with Parkinson’s. In fact, it’s the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. So we urgently need new treatments, more support for people living with the condition and more funds to find a cure. In the last 50 years, we’ve invested more than £100 million in cutting-edge research to uncover the causes of Parkinson’s. We believe we’re close to finding a solution. But not close enough. That’s why we need more people like you.

Parkinson’s Connect will transform the way we interact with people needing help, and you will take ownership of the Salesforce service cloud product that underpins this vital shift, providing support for our adviser service and a single source of information for our service users. We’ll look to you to bring the right people together to build a road map for the product that adds value for users and the service. Working in agile, and partnering with design, technical and service delivery colleagues to interpret and address user needs and mapping technical and business processes, you will enjoy different challenges every day. Notably, you will champion user-centred thinking, in-depth research, prototyping and usability and A/B testing, whilst embedding the latest innovations in our product portfolio – so we’re looking for an exceptional professional.

Highly experienced in maintaining and continuously improving a technical product (preferably Salesforce service cloud) in a medium-to-large organisation, you will be ready to hit the ground running. Your career to date will have given you impressive knowledge of designing or improving business processes, road map creation and data handling, and you should be adept at engaging with users, suppliers and other stakeholders. Above all, you will be passionate about creating an exceptional user experience – and about applying technology to transform the lives of people with Parkinson’s.

In return, we offer all the convenience of home/office working plus an exceptional package of benefits including flexible hours, 25 days’ annual leave, a pension scheme with generous employer contribution and an employee assistance programme, plus extensive investment in your professional development.
