Onalytica Lead Product Designer

Founded in 2009 and backed by Bebo founders Michael and Paul Birch, Onalytica is an award-winning influencer marketing software platform that connects brands with topical influencer communities and helps them to scale and structure influencer programs globally.
As Lead Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for the usability and visual identity of Onalytica’s suite of products. Your days will be spent mapping out design systems, proposing usability improvements, creating prototypes for software engineers to implement and conducting user research. You’ll work alongside our CTO and VP of Product as part of the Product Leadership team, helping to steer product strategy as we seek to keep our diverse user-base engaged.

About You
You have at least five (5) years of full-time professional experience working in digital product design (e.g., UX/UI Designer, Product Designer) at a software company or design agency where software product design is a core function
You can talk through 3 examples from your portfolio which demonstrate how you helped solve a challenge for end users of a product
You can share examples from your career when you’ve helped to drive usability improvements to products
The ability to tailor your designs to meet app constraints (JS framework/CSS/HTML) is essential and being able to assist developers in CSS/HTML implementation is desirable
Experience with Martech solutions, especially social media or influencer solutions is also desirable
You have a toolbox of methods for finding out what users are struggling with and thinking about how to solve those issues at the ready

About the Product Team
We’re a small team of data scientists, software engineers and product managers working together to solve user challenges and deliver high-value functionality for internal and external stakeholders.
The Product team works closely with Customer Success to understand user requirements
We love working together to thrash out the best solution in a collaborative atmosphere – we want to create an environment where actionable, impactful ideas are able to win consistently.

What You’ll Do
First Week: You’ll dive into the world of B2B Influencer Marketing, and the solutions we’ve designed to meet our users’ needs, as well as getting introduced to as many of our team as possible!
First Month: You’ll start taking on responsibility for creating design spec and prototypes for planned features as you learn how we iterate from ideas to the finished article.
First 6 months: By now, you’ll have full ownership of the design process. This means identifying potential improvements, backing up your ideas with research, prototyping, creating wireframes, creating mock-ups, handing off to developers, and QA’ing and testing the builds, as well as final development support as needed to launch a feature.
First year: As a core member of the product leadership team, you’ll be helping to define the product strategy, bringing your perspective to our long-term roadmap discussions.

The Working Environment
Since the pandemic, our team has adapted to a hybrid model of working, with some team members fully remote and others taking advantage of our central London office location to conduct meetings, socialise with colleagues and enjoy a change of scene a few days a week.
The office is located in the London Bridge area with easy access by tube, bus and mainline rail. When team members are in the office, they take advantage of the area’s great food spots and pubs to grab lunch or an after-work drink together.
