The New Partner Solutions team within Expedia for Businesses is responsible for identifying new products, services, and capabilities to bring to our partners, incubating and accelerating high potential opportunities, and setting winning go-to-market models for new offerings. We are hiring for a Sr. Manager, Solution Design for this team!
What you’ll do:
Develop partner solutions: Define and incubate products, services, and capabilities to solve customer problems within Expedia’s B2B unit
Influence product strategy: Lead problem solving for go-to-market models, product visioning and tech feasibility with product leads and business owners across EG
Meet with customers and end users: Engage with Expedia partners to identify their needs & jobs-to-be-done, then capture feedback and translate into business requirements
Generate product insights: Learn about Expedia’s portfolio of products & capabilities and make recommendations for improvement
Identify incubation opportunities: Analyze trends from innovation insights, external market listening and the startup ecosystem to spot new solutions for incubation
Collaborate with product & technology: Work closely with design, product, and technology teams around EG to support user discovery sessions, communicate partner requirements, prioritize product trade-offs, and map out build plans
Who you are:
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
5+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, technical program management, solution design, solutions engineering, or new product development; 7+ years of experience overall
Technical background preferred; experience with product road mapping, requirements gathering, pain point identification, customer journey mapping, tech estimation (e.g., sizing, cost breakdown) and software architecture
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to drive projects & workstreams to successful outcomes autonomously
Excellent influencing and relationship building skills as well as experience working with senior management
Experience working cross-culturally with ability to adapt personal style to different teams, environments, and time zones
