Senior Product Manager

The Role

TimelyMD is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is imaginative, collaborative, and passionate about building new, industry-leading products. This position will be building the future of healthcare technology and impacting lives on a daily basis. This is a strategic role within the product department that will report directly to the VP of Product and will collaborate very closely with the product design and product delivery functions.

 

The Product Lead will oversee the strategy for our primary product offerings. It is not enough for the stakeholders to prioritize the features needed to make the customers happy; the product lead must consider the complete picture and how it will help further TimelyMD. They will be the internal voice for our users and ensure that we are building a product that fits the market needs. Advocating the product vision and ambition across the company.

 

What You’ll Do

Lead the ideation, definition, design, and launch of innovative next generation product features for TimelyCare
Aid in developing the company’s long-term product strategy in coordination with the VP of Product and executive leadership
Collaborate with our product design team to ensure we are evaluating all options to create the right solution to our problem (build, buy, partner)
Perform win-loss analysis and other research to identify areas of friction for buyers. Work with marketing, sales and care teams to design solutions to common buying problems
Innovate new product features, strategies and creative solutions to measurably improve student health and well being, campus retention, etc. to achieve client success
Co-develop (with marketing) effective product positioning and messaging that can be used by sales and marketing
Scan the market and our competitors to track needs, challenges, and opportunities in order to build responsive strategies
Build out systems to ensure we are able to listen to our clients and customers to ensure we are building the right product
Prioritize the product backlog with stakeholders across the company to ensure we are adding the largest value to TimelyMD with every new feature we build
Create and own the ambition, vision, and roadmap for your product
Collaborate with executive team to drive alignment and inspiration cross-functional partnerships to create innovative solutions
Network with external industry leaders to drive thought leadership and best practice within TimelyMD

 

What You Bring

5+ years experience in product strategy, product design and / or product management at b2b software or tech-enabled healthcare companies
B2B and B2C Cloud SaaS experience and / or deep understanding with the ability to troubleshoot, scale and repeatedly create successful solutions
Experience with one or more Agile methodologies with hands-on experience transforming Agile talk into Agile action
Willingness to wear multiple hats and pitch in where needed, in support of the team and creating excellent work
Ownership mindset and a bias for action to make directionally correct choices based on A/B testing, iterative approaches, soft/small scale feature release, and strong feedback loops
Strong organization, planning and execution, with proven track record of success at meeting goals
Expert at cross-functional leadership, peer relationships as well as strong communication, verbal and written
Strong product intuition and design sensibilities, with a desire to discover and fulfill the needs of users
Management consulting and/or strategy consulting experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree is required, master degree is preferred
