As Senior Product Manager – Connections you’ll lead a central role in Dice’s mission to be the leading destination where tech connects! You will own the product strategy for how we continue to develop the modern marketplace that connects technologists with the organizations who need them, ensuring relevant, mutually beneficial relationships. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Owning the product vision, strategy and execution around connections capabilities that meet the needs of our technologists and the organizations who hire them
Deeply understanding user needs of technologists, recruiters and the overall tech career market through a combination of research, feedback, and competitive analysis to understand how we deliver a unique solution that creates sustained value
Collaborating across product teams to translate the business needs/requirements into epics and stories, identify ambiguities, define clear acceptance criteria, and ensure effective prioritization
Managing delivery in partnership with Agile and technical leaders and a near-shore technical team, elaborating requirements, performing/facilitating user acceptance testing, and guiding release strategy
Evangelizing and advocating for your product areas, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product and Support to drive the go-to-market strategy, execution, product adoption and usage
For this role, we’re requiring:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
User-obsessed, with a drive to help them complete their jobs to be done, and a track record of working with product design/UX and engineering teams to deliver valuable experiences for them
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, drive, independence and flexibility
Experience working effectively across functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders
Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills including Google Analytics, data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel
Attention to detail, proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, and proficiency of establishing relationships with teams that inspire them to understand the problems and deliver elegant solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives
Experience representing roadmaps, Agile requirements across systems such as Jira, Roadmunk, and supplemental documentation and designs in Confluence, Sharepoint, Zeplin, Figma, etc
5+ years full product lifecycle management experience
3+ years of experience in online two-sided marketplace responsible for driving adoption, engagement and conversion
Experience managing delivery of projects with a near-shore (or off-shore) team
Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent experience
