We are seeking a thoughtful Product leader in our New York City headquarters to drive growth across Lokavant’s current product suite and new product opportunities, such as Medical Monitoring. The Product Lead will work very closely with our Product, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Success and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product vision shaping, including needs identification, definition, generation of solution design requirements, and validation
- Plan Lokavant’s software release roadmaps based on the strategic product vision
- In collaboration with the product team, a scrum master, engineering, and quality, cultivate excellent product development processes and standards
- Coach and support product owners on scrum teams in writing clear user stories, setting precise acceptance criteria, maintaining a prioritized development backlog, and organizing a Jira board
- Create a transparent, collaborative, and productive environment, embracing Lokavant’s values and serving as a model for the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including commercial and customer success, to collect product feedback, and optimally position new and existing products
- Become a subject matter expect for Lokavant’s product and/or your product focus area, develop nuanced insight into user needs and the competitive landscape, and keenly understand the technical requirements to deliver such product
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized, with effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed, with the ability to learn quickly and autonomously
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment and coach junior team members
- Sincere interest in working at a rapidly changing start-up and scaling with the company as we grow
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering validated software in a regulated industry, ideally life sciences
- Experience with healthcare data, ideally clinical/operational clinical trial data
- Knowledge of e-clinical systems and technologies (g.EDC, CTMS, IRT, etc.)
- Ability to read and execute SQL code
