Group Product Manager (Acquisition)

Full-Time Anywhere

Here at Gousto, we are on a mission to become the UK’s favourite way to eat dinner!

Our Activate tribe is looking for a Group Product Manager!

You’ll be responsible for building world-class customer experiences that sit around the recipe box proposition. The Activate tribe’s mission is to become the most loved platform to manage dinner time routines, by providing relevant, delightful interactions and shareable experiences.

You’ll steer the strategic direction and development of our e-commerce journeys, working with individuals and teams across Technology, Marketing and Proposition. With 100% of our revenue coming through digital channels, the product portfolio is substantial – spanning acquisition, retention and resurrection.

Ideally you’ll be someone who is deeply passionate about understanding the most impactful customer problems to solve and can translate that passion into a clear, unambiguous longer-term product strategy for our teams to execute on.

What will I be doing?

#1 Building world-class e-commerce customer experiences
As Group Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development of digital products across Acquisition, Retention and Customer care – you’ll directly manage a team of talented Product Managers, each leading a cross-functional delivery squad. You’ll be responsible for the success of your teams, directing through the use of OKRs and helping Gousto to successfully deliver on key projects including a new loyalty proposition, a reimagined signup journey and an industry-leading frictionless support experience.

#2 Leading cross-functional teams
We truly believe in cross-functional working and our product leaders bring together a broad set of individuals from product management, product design, software engineering, data science and marketing to build world-class e-commerce experiences for Gousto and our customers.

#3 Developing great Product Managers
You’ll directly manage 4-6 product managers and be responsible for all aspects of their success, both in their current role and their longer-term career. In addition we have a strong mentoring culture as Gousto and as a senior leader you’ll have the opportunity to mentor more junior people across product, tech and the wider Gousto team. We believe that ‘everyone is a product manager’ and so the skills they possess can help people to be successful regardless of role.

#4 Focusing on now… and the future
We are in a stage of hyper-growth, we’re more than doubling each year and this requires a huge investment in both our digital journeys and also our underlying foundations. Scaling at this pace isn’t about doing more or going faster. It’s about thinking differently. You’ll need to invent products that helps to fuel this hyper-growth but also supports Gousto’s longer-term ambitions.
