Senior Product Designer – Oxfordshire, Berkshire – hybrid work environment

This is a pivotal role at Origin Digital, an innovative agriculture tech, software and data solutions company that helps large organisations to get closer to their customers. This means helping farmers in the UK, Africa and Europe sustainably grow more food.
We’re looking for a talented Senior/Lead Product Designer to lead design across four digital products. You’ll lead all aspects of the product design process while mentoring other team members. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers and business stakeholders to make our products easy and delightful to work with.
Life as Senior Product Designer at Origin
In this role you’ll be leading a small team of designers designing a suite of digital cross-platform products. You’ll always be striving to understand the customer, whether it be through feedback sessions, workshops with business stakeholders or reviewing analytics. You’ll strive to understand what, why and how of the problems you’re solving to ensure the right thing is shipped. You’ll work closely with PMs, Engineers and Business Stakeholders to make sure your team isn’t designing great stuff, but they are deeply involved throughout the product process.
Hopefully you’ll have some or all of the following:
Good commercial experience designing lovely, intuitive digital products
A love of leading and/or mentoring other designers
You care about the UI design details but are also comfortable zooming out, seeing the broader picture and connecting the dots to create a cohesive overall experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to help people understand the rationale behind your ideas
Experience designing experiences that people can access on any type of device: desktop, tablet, phone
Solid working knowledge of the latest product design tools; Figma, Notion, Adobe CC etc.
Knowledge of design systems and design libraries
