ESG Product Manager – Cyber Risk Solutions

The ISS ESG Data Solutions team is developing cutting edge data driven solutions for the responsible investment market based on high-quality Corporate Governance, Cyber Risk and ESG data and analysis. As part of the overall ESG Products team, the focus of the Data Solutions team is to develop and further enhance market leading data and analytics, including ISS’ well-established Governance QualityScore and data, as well as driving innovative data solutions for investors such as ISS ESG’s Cyber Risk offering.

The ESG Product Manager – Cyber Risk solutions will be responsible for ISS ESG’s Cyber Risk products and will accelerate the growth and development of our related offering. The position reports to the Head of Data Solutions.

We are currently working virtually but our offices are open. When we return to working from the office, we will be on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product development

Plan, execute, and communicate on new product developments and existing product enhancements based on ISS ESG’s Cyber Risk data to help drive business growth.
Engage with various internal product stakeholders and communicate product features, enhancements, and functionality.
Ensure all product and data delivery support multiple use cases including active portfolio management, quant investing, investment stewardship and equity research.
Conduct root cause analysis of issues raised by clients, in collaboration with technology and data teams.
Support collaborative data and methodology integration efforts with existing and innovative product offerings.
Ensure comprehensive product documentation, data dictionaries, and how-to guides are available and updated for ISS ESG’s Cyber Risk Solutions.
Business development and marketing

Further develop market recognition for ISS ESG’s Cyber Risk Solutions through thought leadership.
Develop underlying content and narrative for social media (infographics) based on Cyber Risk Data and Analytics.
Guide and identify strategic direction for product use cases through organic development efforts or strategic partnerships to maximize go to market efforts.
Support client coverage teams with technical and subject matter expertise, build specialized training on ISS-University platform, and develop internal network to raise awareness of the Cyber Risk Solutions offering within the organization.
Engage with clients and prospects to facilitate product demonstrations, answer questions, and provide high level product support.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree preferred in business, finance, technology or a related field is required
About 7 years’ work experience in product management preferably in the field of data solutions
Experience in data science and analytics
Cyber industry experience is preferred
Strong project management/organizational/multi-tasking skills required
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives
Outstanding writing, communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a cross-functional team
Absolute personal and business integrity
