You will be a keen digital product professional with a desire to develop products that make a real difference to the lives of individuals experiencing bad housing or homelessness. You will also have:
- An understanding of how user-focussed digital services can improve people’s lives
- Demonstrable experience of agile planning, familiar with a range of tools and techniques
- The ability to work with stakeholders with varying levels of digital literacy and build constructive relationships.
- Experience of cross-working and collaboration with experts from other teams to achieve a common goal.
- An understanding of, and the ability to communicate, the principles of good digital practice and web development to both technical and non-technical audiences.
About the role and team
You will support with the planning, delivery, maintenance and optimisation of digital products for people who need Shelter’s support and for the professionals who work with them. You will act as an advocate for continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to improve how the team works, ensuring all products meet Shelter’s needs and support the achievement of our strategic goals.
The Digital team are our digital and creative leaders, collaborating across the organisation to deliver first-class design, content, products and services. The Associate Digital Product Manager is part of Shelter’s central Digital team, which includes front-end and back-end development, UX/UI, content design, QA, analytics and more – the post holder will be embedded into a team of experts.
