Smartwyre’s vision is to transform the commercial performance of manufacturers, distributors and retailers providing agricultural inputs to farmers through real-time pricing and costing. We are growing quickly with hubs in Denver, North Carolina and London and support remote working. Having just raised funding to support this growth, we are looking for a Product Manager to work closely with our customers and the wider Smartwyre team in the US and Europe to define and execute our product strategy and roadmap.
What we expect you to achieve:
Since we launched in 2019, we have secured a premier set of initial customers. Over the next 12-24 months, we have an aggressive product enhancement effort planned. You will play a key role in addressing these customers’ needs and in new customer acquisition.
You are an outcome focused, self-starter obsessed with customer success and with a passion for product management. You will be ready to hit the ground running and be very adaptable. You will possess the ability to think critically and creatively and articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Six months into the job, you will have mastery of the product and our sector and will be taking the lead in defining key aspects of the solution and customer experience of the Smartwyre platform.
Take the lead on key aspects of the overall Smartwyre solution aligned to the overall approach from the Lead Product Manager
Engage with customers and prospects to ensure in depth understanding of their problems and how Smartwyre can address them
Work closely with engineering define solutions to customer problems and deliver them within expected timelines
Build consensus with Product Management and engineers on priorities leading to product execution and launch
As part of the team, drive the ongoing improvement of our product processes
Contribute to the product vision and strategy and ensure it comes to life across the teams you interact with
Ensure that all teams have all the information they need to deliver the product successfully to market
Monitor the adoption, usage and impact of new features and enhancements and act on these insights
Drive new products from conception through market launch to adoption
Obsessively simplify the user experience and drive user adoption
Provide support, documentation and training for internal and external users
Five years professional experience with a track record of success in a similar role
Success in leading a SaaS B2B product in a network model
Experience in agriculture or other B2B market that is early in digital adoption
Team player with experience working in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support
Experience with digital adoption solutions (i.e. Walkme, Pento, Whatfix) preferred
Experience in reporting and insight driven products a plus
Strong focus on user experience a real plus
Language skills a plus
