THE TEAM (Product Management – Platform)
The Product Management team plays an essential role in guaranteeing the success of our product portfolio and team members play important roles on several transformational projects focused on driving the next wave of growth at Evaluate.
The Product Platform Team is part of Product Management, comprising specialists in UXUI design, solutioning, information architecture/domain modelling, and technical product management. Current focus is on the redesign and development of the Evaluate subscriber platform, and the development of alternative delivery mechanisms such as data feeds, APIs and mobile.
SCOPE OF ROLE
In this role as Senior UXUI Designer you will be responsible for the overall user experience and look/feel of the Evaluate portfolio of products, supporting the delivery of the UX and wider Offering Strategy. You will be obsessed with customer experience, championing the end user, conceptualizing, and crafting user experiences that support our customers’ use cases and goals. This is a strategic role that is instrumental in further growing Evaluate’s business through the delivery of a market-beating and world-class user experience across all offerings.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED
- Delivery of innovative end-to-end designs and related artefacts for a new subscriber platform (including intelligent search, personalisation, customisation, data visualisation/tabular data manipulation, recommendations and data navigational tools/IA)
- Any UXUI required for alternative delivery mechanisms for data and product (self-serve data feed UI, mobile)
- Design of new Evaluate vertical products
- Delivery and management of a living, breathing Design
- System that can be used by Development Teams (currently in Figma) including style guides for data visualisation and design, UXUI standards, personas, use cases and key workflows
- Usability testing strategy and toolkit embedded into product development workflow
- Through oversight and review, support delivery of highly usable and intuitive data visualisations and related tools
- Successful routine collaboration with product managers, technologists and developers
- Own a pan-portfolio Design Backlog, ensuring that all design work is transparent, visible and understood
- Ongoing delivery of world-class UXUI, look/feel, prototypes, interaction designs, user interaction models, information architecture, wireframes, and screen flows
- Through developing a deep understanding of the product suite, our customers, our value proposition, market challenges and the competitive landscape
- You will work closely and collaboratively with product managers and the product development team, facilitating design and brainstorming workshops
- You will design multiple versions of product solutions to accurately reflect current, short-term and long-term intentions
WHAT IT TAKES
Essential requirements
- End to end UXUI skills, including look/feel, prototypes, interaction designs, user interaction models, information architecture, wireframes, architecture maps and screen flows
- Experience in conducting research, customer interviews, concept testing and usability testing, and making solid, realistic recommendations
- Experience in utilising all available insights and data points such as market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings to inform your work
- Champion UX best practice and standards within the organisation across all levels
- Experience of designing for data-driven applications including data tables and visualisation is essential
- Solid understanding of design principles and human-computer interaction trends
- Expertise of standard and newer UX tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Axure
- Understanding of core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS), technological limitations and opportunities
- Demonstrable excellent presentation skills and able to communicate persuasively across different audiences and all levels
- Deep understanding of UXUI design trends and developments, as well as responsive web design and experience designing for mobile
- Experience of working as part of a SCRUM team, with a strong drive to collaborate and take on feedback/other perspectives
