UX/UI Designer

The Opportunity
At Vyne we are changing the way consumers pay and merchants get paid. You will be joining an innovative and great product team here at Vyne who are creating the very best user experiences when paying online. This role would best suit a bright and ambitious designer early in their career who wants to gain even more experience in a high growth environment. Using your skills you will turn product requirements into pixel perfect designs!

What you’ll do
This is a hybrid role which blends UX and UI Design working on features across our entire product. You will work closely alongside a UX/UI lead, supporting the team with designing concepts for MVPs.Work with data engineers to ensure the data lake is structured appropriately for Vyne’s requirements

 

As part of the Design team, you will contribute to various aspects of the design process and utilise your full range of UX design skills on the products you’re building
You’ll help conduct user research to enhance and update what we know about our customers, their use cases, their challenges. You’ll help produce affinity maps and customer journeys to help your team understand the what and why to ensure we deliver the right thing
You’ll create user flows, wireframes, and highly-polished prototypes
You’ll put together prototypes that showcase how Vyne works for different verticals
You’ll contribute on designing usable and accessible components for our Vyne portals
You’ll create responsive designs and advocate for design consistency
You’ll collaborate with devs to do pixel-perfect reviews before they are pushed in production
You’ll be working on optimising hosted or integrated checkouts on web and mobile.
Required knowledge and skills
A degree or qualification in UX/UI Design
You must have a 1-2 years minimum experience in product design, app and website platforms
We’ll need a portfolio so we can evaluate if you’re a good fit for us. Include examples of mobile and web products you have worked on.
We expect you to be proficient in Figma. Experience of illustration or motion design would be a bonus.
A background in global payments is an advantage. You will have designed and iterated on payment products.
