Associate Product Marketing Manager – Remote Position

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager at ProductPlan, you will play an important role in positioning our product, launching new features, and supporting our sales team in the growing product management software market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Feature Launches: Coordinate specific feature launches, from ideation and positioning to announcement and promotion
Sales Enablement: Communicate the value of new features to the sales team and create sales enablement tools like competitive battlecards, product feature slides, customer testimonials, case studies, and more (in conjunction with the Content Marketing team)
Domain Expertise: Develop an understanding of the market, including buyer personas, customer segments, and competitors, and build internal documentation that teaches other departments what you’ve learned
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to determine what, where and how, and to whom we market key features, taking into account user needs and business objectives
Market Analysis: Work with the marketing team to continuously improve our marketing funnel (for example, analysis on ideal customer profile (ICP), total addressable market (TAM), vertical segments, etc.)
Required Experience, Education, & Skills:
1-3 years of Product Marketing experience, preferably at a B2B SaaS company or technology startup
Excellent writing skills: Capable of understanding and communicating the value of a product in multiple formats, including sales tools, website copy, internal training materials, and more.
A good mind for numbers and metrics: Tasked with defining and monitoring the metrics that track your success.
A passion for research: Able to dig deep into customer insights collected from in-app usage data, customer surveys, interviews, and learnings from other team members to guide marketing decisions.
Experience running marketing campaigns: Orchestrate the release of new features to market through targeted content marketing campaigns, social media, email marketing, and more.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Be the voice of the marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success on projects.
