Napster is the original music industry disruptor and pioneer in music streaming and subscription services. MelodyVR, who have led the way in creating immersive music content, struck a visionary deal to buy Napster in 2020, and the Napster Group was formed.
We are now taking on the challenge of rebuilding and launching a new-look music streaming service, which is more than audio, and will offer music fans a range of exciting content across Audio, Video and Live Streams of gigs and shows, connecting music fans to the artists they love and helping them discover their new favourites.
Our product management team is expanding, which means we’ll be changing the way in which we work with our colleagues in Design, Engineering, Data, Content Operations, Marketing, and other departments and disciplines within the company. We’re looking for a Product Manager to define and develop Napster’s personalisation, search and information retrieval products (search, recommendations, and other data-driven services). Search and Information Retrieval are critical capabilities for Napster: to meet users’ needs to find music and related content, and to explore or discover music and content Napster can offer and recommend to them.
We are looking for a someone who can take ownership of this area, drive it forward and can work successfully with colleagues who are based across multiple timezones.
Experience working with data science, machine learning or AI tools is desired.
