The Product Manager is responsible for delivering a differentiated product that addresses a business need and represents a viable business opportunity. A key component of this role is ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager is ultimately responsible for managing the product throughout its lifecycle – conception through end-of-life:

Roles and responsibilities

    • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
    • Gather, manage, and prioritize business requirements and develop business case for new products and improvements to existing products
    • Act as the business advocate articulating the user’s needs
    • Work closely with engineering and business teams to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
    • Be the scrum master and the product owner (define stories and detailed specifications) in engineering sprints
    • Run beta and pilot programs with new products and features along with regular reviews with business teams to ensure that it meets the expectations
    • Perform product demos to factory partners
    • Act as a leader within the company
    • Get access to the best talent in your network to build the team

Skills and Experience

    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Technical background
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Passion to answer Product/Engineering questions with data
    • Overall 5-8 years of experience with at least 4 years in product management role
    • Capable of tackling very loosely defined problems
