Purpose of the role
VisitLondon.com is London’s official visitor guide, attracting more than 20 million users a year from the UK and around the world. Visit London offers users inspiration, information and the ability to book a broad range of world class attractions, theatre performances and a growing range of immersive experiences. We generate millions of pounds in ticketing revenue that we re-invest in promoting London and supporting jobs across the city. We work with leading partners such as Mastercard, SEE Tickets, Booking.com, Golden Tours and Red Letters Day to acquire and convert customers and develop new products and propositions for our audiences.
We have recently developed our long-term growth strategy and this newly created role presents an exciting opportunity for an established digital product manager to own the Visit London channels and build a world class portfolio of the best that London has to offer domestic and international visitors. The digital product manager will drive user acquisition, engagement and conversion, underpinning long-term, profitable income growth.
Job specification
Maximise eCommerce income and profitability by optimising conversion and sales of high value products
Own the Visit London product / channel strategy plus the long-term product roadmap
Lead the development of visitlondon.com, with particular focus on mobile, ensuring the site delivers an outstanding customer experience
Identify gaps and opportunities within our current attractions and theatre product offering
Work closely with the Business Development Manager to identify and target new affiliate partners that support the VL growth strategy
On-board new affiliate partners in conjunction with the in-house development, design and content teams
Design, develop, test and deploy curated products that aim to meet audience interests and have the potential to boost income generation
Manage affiliate content across the website
Deliver advertising programmes across all channels
Maintain the Visit London app. This includes managing the digital agency and budget.
Work with channel owners to ensure social media, email and other acquisition channels are driving profit
Skills
Digital product management experience, ideally within an ecommerce or multi-channel environment
Proven UX and conversion rate optimisation experience
Customer journey mapping and user testing
Developing, testing and bringing new products and propositions to market
Delivering and deploying product strategy
Product auditing and gap analysis
Aligning audience interests with the product portfolio
Developing product roadmaps
Product reporting
Experience within international markets
Competent user of Google Ad Manager and Google Analytics
Agency and budget management
Experience of managing apps would be helpful, though not essential
