About the Role:
As a Product Manager at Airfinity, you will be the facilitator of the web application and API products we develop and build. You will need to have extensive experience in defining product vision in accordance with customer and market needs, as well as ensuring all products support the company goals and strategy. This is an opportunity for you to combine your communication, leadership, pipelining and defining skills to take responsibility for our market leading scientific products.
Responsibilities:
Apply product management best practices to creatively solve complex, ambiguous, and novel problems
Design the roadmap for product creation, breaking up delivery into meaningful, achievable goals
Translate user needs into compelling stories designers can use to draw user flows and interactions, and developers can use to build the product
Create and optimise measurable objectives (KPIs, North Star Metrics) which are closely correlated with company success;
Align stakeholders on the roadmap, what solutions we are delivering, and what value those solutions bring to clients;
Conduct user interviews to derive insight on what problems our users are facing and which we should be solving first;
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary science and engineering team, operating as a connecting point between engineering, biologists, operations, and business
Develop a highly ambitious yet practical strategy for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible today
Dynamically work with the Product Lead throughout the business wherever product expertise is needed.
Requirements:
Experienced product manager with demonstrated talent for strategy, creativity, and execution.
Working across cross-functional teams (commercial, professional services, engineering, design);
Taking complex and unstructured insight and turning it into precise actionable steps;
Effectively prioritising user stories and market opportunities;
Delivering on a roadmap by working closely with design and engineering;
Conducting user interviews with clients (or other client-facing work).
